Lets Play Angry Birds Epic Under the Cloud of Night Event #2

In this Angry Birds Epic gameplay video we play through some of the super challenging Under the Cloud of Night event levels. To be successful in these levels you need the right bird configuration. My line-up is okay for the easy and medium levels (3 and 5 stamina pigs), but not great on the toughest 7-stamina pigs.

Thankfully, you can find a ton of tips and bird line-up suggestions in this forum topic started by @korath88 (thanks!).

If you have a different strategy for completing this level feel free to leave a comment below. Be sure to check out the rest of our Angry Birds Epic walkthroughs here as well as join the conversation in the Epic Forum.

@birdleader I’d bet that the Golden Chili would definitely turn things around in those hard levels, but since I’m a legit player, as in, no Golden Chili and potion usage, I guess we’ll never know.

I have the Golden Chilli (for some reason it was free, probably a bug). Yes, the Golden Chilli can turn things around, but only by chance, especially when facing a Shogun and 2 Master Ninjas at the same time (you can only win if those Masters keep using Focus Chi)

Nice video again @birdleader !

The hard wouldn’t be so hard if they didn’t team up and kill my chuck with one turn.I recommend using Paladin’s devotion on Chuck.

That would still be hard because you can’t rely on 2 birds to defeat the ninjas (unless Paladin deals really low damage). Also, Master Ninjas can dispell.

@birdleader For the levels without Shoguns, Use Samurai instead of Paladin so Red can damage the Ninjas.

i used Paladin – Rainbird – Spies (and Princess ) when you can choose 4 birds – best combination so far.

I’m not really seeing the logic behind that. Unless there is a Mandarin, Paladin and Princess will be completely useless, and spies won’t be able to deal their maximum damage. Mind explaining how that combo works?

My best combo of four was Samurai, Druid, Rainbird, and Skulkers.

Always use samurai for defense on any level and Skulker Druid combo places vines on all enemies. Add a little rain and I have 1k damage per round from poison alone. When healing is needed, double heal with Rainbird and Druid. With the exception of one other person, I earned an easy 1000 coins plus a 2500 mastery for all birds + 2500 Mastery for Chuck and Blues. (combined with the first, that is 5k mastery for both Chuck and Blues. :)

@birdleader – a little late here for it to help in this event, but maybe for future events – you can tap rapidly on the flowers, gifts, etc to receive multiple awards from each, much like the harvesting spots.
