Angry Birds Space Red Planet Mirror Level M5-12 Walkthrough

I like to reverse the first two shots in the walkthrough, but that’s not important. What matters is that when you go for the far side, you hit the boulder hard and with a slight upward angle so that it bounces once and then the geyser blows it high enough so that it comes down on the edge of the structure. It should destroy the crystal as it does, and come to rest on the platform that the structure sits on. I’ve posted a screenshot in my album of my best result after the first shot of 31,480. I’ve gotten as high as 28k even when it didn’t land on the platform, but the structure collapsed completely. It’s hard to hit that boulder just right, but keep at it. On my high score, I got just under 30k on the first shot, so there’s at least another 1,500 more available right there. For the third shot, I launch LB behind the planet the slingshot is on, as low to the surface as possible. Then after about 3 or 4 seconds (when the focus shifts back to close up mode on my phone), I aim him at the lavasteroid so that it falls to the surface. That should take out any remaining pigs, crystals and debris on the surface there, and maybe even one of the boulders that came down on the last shot, and one piece usually flies around to the south side of the planet, doing varying degrees of damage to the structure there. I’ve also posted a screenshot of the final destruction after the third shot and before the 10k was added for the 4th bird.

This is another application of something I noticed recently: LB’s force decreases with distance. After three seconds or so traveling away from the target, he will push the lavasteroid instead of detonating it.

@rat9 Sorry to take away your 60th birthday high score (until you take it back anyway), but I’m turning 65 on the 26th, so this was a pre-birthday present for me! I’m not doing as well as you and ma (hi @kathy) on the whole, but Mirror World definitely brings out the best in me. This is about the 5th or 6th new strategy that I’ve come up with to take a 1st (thought someone took one of those away, using my strategy to do it anyway).
