Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level 1 Week 40 – September 16th 2013

Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level #1 (Day 1, released on September 16th, Week 40 which began on September 16th, 2013). Our non power-up strategy is to loft Luke between the first two towers. Then fling Han Solo towards the tnt, and his his blaster at the glass block. This should send the boulder up, and topple the towers above. The score in the video below is 89,130.

This is a repeat of Level 1 from Week 14, so feel free to check out that post for additional walkthrough strategies. You’re also welcome to post new ones here.

Our Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament walkthroughs show you how to obtain 3 stars, most of the time without the aid of Power-Ups (we do make exceptions). If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments. Tournament walkthroughs are added weekly as new levels come out, so be sure to check the walkthrough page.

So far as I can see, send Red in a high arc to the middle of the first two columns, light-saber and destroy. Then fling Han into the cave and laser the TNT. PC platform, no p/u’s – 91410

You can also destroy just the first half of first tower with red and then send Han through remaining half of first tower lasers blazing and aimed at the ice block below TNT. Got 90,780 with second try.

Improved it to 93,250. Red one must be aimed sufficiently low so that it destroys one or even two wooden blocks and Han must shoot its lasers quite early so that it won’t go straight through wooden blocks but destroys wooden blocks and hits the falling stone block. Otherwise all remaining tower just fall straight down and there is no additional damage done.

yes i am on board with this strategy too…. I was shooting a half-power arc tho…. assuming I kill the pig on the ground leaning against the single square block, i have scored 29k with that shot….not sure how good or not good that is…..

2nd bird i just fire it high and shoot down, pretty easy shot.

Top score w/ no power ups… 91k and change

1-birder: Take TD and aim a bit above the solid block of 1-st tower. 100K+.

It’s of course Blaster Droid, not TD. Sorry for mistake.

Bird 1 as per video, bird Han fired 2 through remaining debris to hit TNT directly; seems like a combination of most strats here. No PU’s.

This is the method I’ve been using to consistently get 91K-92K. A big part of it is barely clipping the bottom left corners of the metal pieces with both birds as you fling them, so they do damage to the metal ones as well as the wood ones. Also, on the second shot (Han), when it clips the bottom of the horizontal metal piece, it prevents the upper part of the vertical tower above it from dropping down onto the metal boxes at the base, but remaining standing.

Don’t how I did this but have not been a to repeat this. No PU’s Red just above big block activate light-saber not to affect flight path Red continues down bounces once hitting TNT whipping out the rest.
