2 birds. Yellow bird to the windmill?? Black bird over the roof, landing in the middle of the two wood supports. 223k

Thanks @terribletom! I was trying to be too clever, using YB to take out propeller and then across to cut the chain. The pesky pig on the lower left was always thwarting me. Trying to get it from the left was fruitless. I dropped bomb bird between the building and the tower. Kaboom and two bird result occurred. I’m assuming that the 230+ score is just more destruction, eh @curite?

I was lucky enough that the entire right hand side went down with the yellow bird to the windmill. The pig on the stone shelf between the structures was also gone. High lob with the bomb bird in between the structures made it all the way to the ground. Lots of luck in this level.

I actually did this a little different. I wait till the propeller is at it’s farthest right and starting it’s leftward return. Low arc through the red ball as the propeller is near the bottom. yellow drops the structure and continues under under the overhang and over to the right clearing the right side and hopefully destroying the toxic waste for the bonus points. the next shot just under the controller platform at the wooden crossbeam support struts to drop to the ground. damage varies but the next bird is usually a waste because there has never been a good collection to > than 10K

Feather is REALLY hard to get, even if you destroy everything

Rank: Sling God with 27155 points
By Tiffin (@tiffin)Score: 227,980

How right you are, @rowdypup. I eventually got the feather by using the four birds to destroy as much as possible to the left of the tower, then dropping the can in the left corner of the tower against the concrete block. The Beast roared in from the left, hit the can, bounced up to the right and took everything out.

Good strategy @tiffin. Added that it appears the ME needs to destroy the 4 items on the right side with black dots in the middle.

I used a different approach but it is a variation on the @terribletom strategy. Rather than aim at the propeller, I went high to the left of the flying thingy and as the yellow bird started to drop to the right I powered it through the nearest little piggy. When it worked properly, the propeller and the stick it is attached to came loose and started to fly around doing a lot of damage, while yellow carried on through the chimney etc on the right and did some damage there. On my best score I had 110K after the first shot. This shot works 50% of the time and the damage done by the propeller varies a great deal but its worth a try. Second shot over the roof as @terribletom did for a total of 227980.

From what I can see, the propeller needs to stay attached to the stick for a little while but then it can detach and fly around like the snitch in Harry Potter’s Quidditch games, doing more damage. When it works, it is fun to watch.

Hi @rubeeinthesky. I fired up the game again to see how my so-called strategy worked, and it took a long time to get the shot working to the point where I could equal my first bird score from Sept of 110K. Here’s the story:

When you start, the helicopter blade on the flying thingy is at around 1 o’clock. To the right of it is a chimney with a little piggy in front of it (around 4 o’clock); he is the piggy you need to hit. Pull YB back so that he almost touches the sling and let him go. by the time he reaches the top of his climb and starts to fall to the right, our little piggy should be lined up so that you can boost YB through him and, if you are lucky, carry on to do damage to the right. if (its a big IF) the blade breaks away still connected to the stick, it can go anywhere, still spinning and causing damage. I hope that helps, and good luck. By the way, my 50% success estimate was a bit off the mark; having tried the shot today, 5% is more like it!

@tiffin @rubeeinthesky i back to try and improve my score, trying this strat i noticed you have to barely glance yb off the engine to get the propeller to fall, luck if the stick goes with it. I haven’t perfected it yet but 50% of the time it does.

Been working on breaking the average on this level for over a week now, and have only been able to come up just short of average despite reading the comments here. I am sure it can be done, but what am I missing? I know many Seasons levels have gotten easier recently, is it possible that this one has just gotten harder?

I have come to my own conclusion that breaking the cage to release the duck actually makes it harder to get the points for the toxic barrels below as the duck acts like a bumper once it lands atop the barrels.

My highest scoring attempts have either been the above mentioned two bird approach – Chuck through the smokestack to the motor of the spinning box, and high lob of Bomb to between house and factory to explode near ground level. Or first Chuck to break factory support, Bomb to far right to pick up barrels, second Chuck through smokestack to motor of spinning box, and high lob of Bubbles to the right edge of house, expanding to blow stoves and pick up far left pig. Both have resulted in scores in the 210-212k range regularly, but nothing remotely close to the high scores reported here.

@burbman the best I can recollect is that the first shot is the key. Getting into a groove of that shot and having a decent set up for shot two. It really was wash rinse repeat with patience.
