Can someone explain why the first level shown here is three stars.

I’ve completed this level only using the first two birds and it only gave me 2 stars.

Am I missing something?

It doesn’t matter how many birds are left. It all boils down to how many points you get.

In some cases, you can score more than 10,000 points by destroying walls, boards, etc. This level is a case in point. Knocking down either of the 2 vertical walls will generate more than 10,000 points, and so is worth the bird.

Do you saw a bug on lvl 7-4 The yellow birds sticks in mid air when hedestroys firs line of wood.?????

i got a yellow bird stuck in mid air before and i realised why, if u look closely its a little ledge and if u destroy it it gives you 50 points aswell

Hi, just going through my scores trying, first to beat the average score & then to get within 10k of top scores. Could the score for Level 7-2 be a typo – 149,060 instead of 179,060 – just seems a bit high and is 28k higher than the 2nd best score.

Hi just got to level 7-4 I’ve had the same issue with the yellow bird hanging in mid air I enlarged that area I saw no ledge also when I landed a boomerang bird on the right side it dropped the blocks ok but left a wooden stick hanging in mid air to the left leaving a gap between the wall to the right and the stick to the left destroying my next bird from being able to continue on it’s path

Ok… I consider myself a pretty good player…top 50 on each level that I have focused on and top 200 currently (although usually top 30-40 prior to recent updates that I haven’t focused on yet). Level 7-4 is by anybody’s estimation one of the toughest levels in the original AB. I have just under 90K on the level and see the possibility to get up to maybe 95K with a little luck using the best strateg I could come up with. That said, there are HUNDREDS of people with higher scores, many of which over 100K and even up to something like 110K. Can someone please share your strategy for getting one of these higher scores on this level? Every walkthrough I can find online shows a max score of less than my 90K, usually around 83K. Help, please! Thanks in advance! Yagr1

Level 7-4; 100,890; 3 birds

yagrl, the method I use to get consistent 95K+ is this:
Arc the 1st (yellow) bird over the structure and then accelerate through the 2nd-to-last wooden roof board just in front of the right 3 ‘chimney’ stones. This releases the 3 stones, but the bird MUST have enough momentum to hit the far back wall (right side) and push the entire wall to the ground for maximum points. The rest of the roof should also come down at this point or you may as well start over. Fire the 2nd and 3rd (boomerang) birds exactly level so that each in turn hits the third-from-the bottom square stone in the front of the building. The 3rd bird will destroy the stone and the front of the building will disintegrate. If enough things break, you’ll easily get a score in the mid 80s and often well into the 90s.

Tried this many times. Everything falls just as you describe but consistently only yields 65-75 K after the left over green bird is counted.

Level 7-5; 98140 with 1 bird. Same as video but aim red bird a little higher to hit the middle of triangle block. This seems to cause the TNT box to fall further down and explode above all the pigs.

7-4 Sucks!!! It is my albatross! I have 3 stars all the way through level 15, and still cannot get this level 7 one :-(

7-4 Rather than working with the difficult first shot with the yellow bird, try launching it on a medium trajectory towards the rear chimney, powering in to cut through just in front at a shallow angle. Its momentum should take out the back wall and the chimney blocks will take care of most of the clasroom. Launch a toucan on a steep trajectory (beak just touching the post), and reverse it just before hitting the roof so that it crashes through just behind the forward chimney. The blocks will take care of whatever’s left below, and if you’re really lucky, much of the front wall. Best score so far using this method 91,750, but I can get 3 stars virtually every time

Yipee!!!! This level was killing me…..one star for so long. Those ledges are tough. With your help I have 3 stars in all levels. Thanks. It’s a little troubling that I yelped with joy over this, but YIPEE!

Anyone know the feeling…when your going through old levels trying to enter your scores on the boards, AND THEN ……u come across the worst level u ever played and cannot make the average, not even close…? Well…..that’s how I feel right now on 7-4:(:(:(wah wah help
